Elkhart Public Library brings back Curbside Concerts

The Elkhart Public Library is bringing back its Curbside Concerts for the fifth year.

The first concert of the season will happen on Friday, May 10, when Paul Decker and the Remnants will take the stage.

Each week through the end of June, bands will play on top of the downtown library’s roof for the public to enjoy from the parking lot. 

 

The Curbside Concerts schedule is as follows, with music beginning at 7 p.m.:

  • May 10 – Paul Decker and the Remnants
  • May 17 – Jake Miller and the Midwest Heat
  • May 24 – Society’s Child
  • May 31 – Darryl Buchanan and the Soul Motown Allstars
  • June 7 – Punk Night featuring The Distractions, Half Built Homes and the Hatchbacks
  • June 14 – High Gravity
  • June 28 – BEE The Band

On Elkhart Jazz Festival weekend, June 21-22, the schedule will include these Jazz Fest parties:

  • Friday, June 21 – JAGALCHI at 7:30 p.m. and Paul Erdman at 9:45 p.m.
  • Saturday, June 22 – rebel noire and the accomplices at 7:30 p.m. and Lalo Cura at 9:45 p.m.

It’s completely free, and concerts will be moved inside to the library’s first-floor atrium in the case of rain.
