Former Notre Dame Quarterback Tyler Buchner has announced that he is transferring to Alabama.
He will join former Irish QB and Offensive Coordinator Tommy Rees at Tuscaloosa, where Rees also coaches the quarterback corps as he did at Notre Dame.
In a statement Thursday, Buchner said “sometimes life brings opportunities that are beyond anything you can imagine,” and he said committing to play for Nick Saban at Alabama is one of those.
