The donations came from local listeners, as well as friends of Five Star, area businesses and Five Star backers.

Five Star Life teaches children five core values of respect, responsibility, integrity, sacrifice and courage in after-school programs for middle school students, their K-12 video curriculum, through Five Star at Summit and their basketball league as well as their SNAP Leadership program with area detention centers.

Even though this year’s radiothon has ended, you can still donate on Five Star Life’s website.
