Appeal filed by attorneys for convicted killer Anthony Hutchens

An appeal was filed, last week, months after the conviction of 16-year-old Anthony Hutchens.

He was sentenced in January to 64 years behind bars for the murder and molestation of 6-year-old Grace Ross in New Carlisle back in 2021.

During an interview with investigators, he said a shadowy figure took control of him.

Hutchens is at a juvenile facility until he’s 18. At that point, he could be moved to prison, get time suspended, or receive probation, WSBT reports.
