Fire at Hickory Village Apartment quickly contained

Mishawaka police and fire crews who were sent to an apartment fire are credited with quick work to contain the blaze.

It happened on Tuesday, May 2, in the 4500 block of Hickory Road at Hickory Village Apartment complex. The fire was quickly contained to one dwelling.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the fire and evacuation of nearby and adjoining apartments.

The Mishawaka Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire.
