Transpo is hosting a hiring event this Saturday morning for mechanics, bus cleaners & fuelers.

The job fair will take place at Transpo’s Administrative Office located on South Lafayette Blvd. in South Bend.

Mechanic positions are available for both first and second shifts. Bus Cleaning and Fueling positions are available for second shift.

Positions require a Class B CDL. with passenger and airbrake endorsements; though, paid CDL training is available for qualified candidates.

Pay starts at $21.50 per hour for Bus Cleaners and Fuelers and ranging from $25 to nearly $29 for Mechanics based on experience.
