New security measurements rolled out ahead of 107th Indianapolis 500

(IMS)
New security measures are being rolled out ahead of the 107th running of the Indianapolis 500.
For the first time ever, new screening devices called CEIA OPENGATE will be in use.
The devices will screen fans at each entrance to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
With the detectors in use, fans will not have to empty their pockets or remove any items of clothing to attend this month’s festivities.
