The Elkhart Common Council approved an ordinance on Monday, May 15, that will allow a new hotel just south of the Toll Road.

The plan would put a 122 room Extended Stay Hotel at the northwest corner of Windsor Drive and Johnson Street.

WSBT reports that the 48,000 square foot, four story hotel is expected to be open by mid-to-late 2024.
