It’s a nine year sentence for a Rochester woman after her baby daughter drowned in a bathtub.

It was August Of 2022 when medics and police were called to 27-year-old Shawna Glosser’s apartment. Glosser admitted leaving her 8-month-old daughter in a baby seat in the bathtub.

When she returned, she found her baby face-down in the water.

The baby was rushed to the hospital where she died.

In exchange for Glosser’s plea, a charge of neglect resulting in death was dismissed. Glosser will be in prison for 6 years. The other 3 years of her sentence have been suspended.
