Goshen man arrested after allegedly attacking grandmother

A Goshen man has been arrested after he allegedly attacked his grandmother.
Police were called around 2:20 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, to the 800 block of Emerson Street on the report of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 56-year-old man suffering from a non-life threatening laceration on his upper arm. The man was taken to Goshen Hospital for help.  During the investigation, it was determined that a 61-year-old woman had also experienced domestic violence, allegedly at the hands of her grandson, Javier Manges, 18.
The woman sustained minor injuries, but declined medical assistance.
Manges was apprehended on preliminary charges of aggravated battery and domestic battery and taken to the Elkhart County Jail.
