A vehicle traveling along Johnson Road suddenly lost a tire and police in LaPorte County are looking for the driver.

It happened around 8:20 p.m. on the evening of May 6.

The tire rolled into the parking lot of Waterford Inn and kept on rolling, round and round. The tire quickly traveled across the parking lot of the bar and crashed into a parked pickup truck near the building.

After damaging the truck, the tire rolled back across the parking lot and out to Johnson Road.

The three-wheeled car enters the parking lot and parks next to the damaged truck, but the driver failed to make contact with anybody inside the establishment and left a short time later. It was all caught on surveillance camera.

Anybody with information about three-wheeler and/or the driver is asked to contact Det. Payne at jpayne@lcso.in.gov
