New marijuana business approved in Niles

(95.3 MNC)
A new marijuana business has gotten the green light to set up shop in Niles.
The City Council voted 6-1 to grant GenTerra, L.L.C. permission to obtain a Class C grower license – up to 2,000 plants –  for its Lake Street location.
The building where they’ll grow is the current marijuana growing location for Chedder Bobs. Leader Publications reports if GenTerra becomes fully licensed through the State of Michigan, a City of Niles license will be issued after the proper inspections have taken place.
