Bremen man arrested for alleged drunk driving

A Bremen man has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after hitting a mailbox and nearly colliding with a school bus in Marshall County.
Police got the word about the near-crash involving 33-year-old James Rimel on Monday, May 22.
He was located by police in the area of Miami Trail and U.S. 6 and found to have a BAC of .242, which is three times the legal limit.
He faces charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.
Rimel’s next court date is set for June 6.
