Memorial Day fight leads to early closure of Silver Beach

An individual was apprehended following a fight that occurred at Silver Beach in St. Joseph on Memorial Day.

Law enforcement had to be summoned to maintain order amidst the gathering. WSBT reports that, as a result of the incident, Silver Beach was shut down for the evening.

However, it re-opened, as normal, for beach-goers on Tuesday.
