South Bend Police Dept. to host ‘School’s Out Cookout’ for residents

The school year is winding down and the South Bend Police Department wants to help you celebrate the end of the school year with the department’s “School’s Out Cookout.”
It’s happening from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 3rd, at Kennedy Park.
Residents are invited to join officers, along with several other local organizations, for an afternoon of food, fun and giveaways.
The event is free to attend and open to anyone in the city.
