South Bend police officers recovering after being bit by dogs while responding to dispute

Two South Bend police officers are recovering after receiving dog bites while responding to a domestic dispute on Orange Street.
It happened on Tuesday morning, May 30.
WNDU reports the officers were attacked by one of two dogs that charged at them while on the call at a home in the 2500 block of Orange Street. The officers used Tasers to stop the attack. The dogs are now in the custody of Animal Control.

The domestic dispute likely agitated and wound up the dogs. Hopefully they dont euthanize the poor things. They are probably good dogs when they arent in a violent or terrible environment!
