Three people are recovering after a crash in Elkhart County.

The collision happened late Sunday night, June 4, at County Roads 3 and 36 when sheriff’s investigators say a driver tried to turn left into a driveway, but hit an oncoming car that was coming over a hill.

The force of that crash then resulted in the driver who tried to turn lose control and smash into another car that was parked in a yard.

Both drivers and a passenger were taken to the hospital for care.
