A Dowagiac man in prison gets another prison term.

40-year-old Ricardo Cruz is already in prison on drug and weapon charges.

Now, he’s pleaded guilty to possession of meth and carrying a concealed weapon in car and was sentenced in Berrien County Trial Court.

Leader Publications reports that it happened  July 9, 2021 in Niles Township.

He has been sentenced to 18 months to 10 years in prison for the meth charge and 18 months to five years in prison for the weapon charge. He also has to pay fines and costs, as well as giving up his weapons.
