A 20-year-old Elkhart man is behind bars after allegedly engaging in sexual acts with a dog and threatening his mother.

It was in March of last year when Blake Reffett reportedly threatened his mother with a hammer after she witnessed him engaging in sexual acts with her dog.

According to WSBT, Reffett’s mother says he allegedly threatened that he would hit her with the hammer, kill her, and burn her body if police were called.

On June 10 last year, a search warrant was executed on Reffett, and officers heard him make a comment about hitting his mother.

He’s now booked in the Elkhart County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
