A Niles man is heading to jail after an attempted assault.

It happened in March of 2022 in Howard Township.

Leader Publications reports that 21-year-old Darious Dean Hradel pointed a gun at his neighbor after Hradel’s father was arguing with the neighbor about dogs on the neighbor’s property.

Hrdael pleaded guilty to attempted assault with a dangerous weapon.

He was sentenced to 300 days in jail and ordered to pay $1,500 in fines and costs.
