Elkhart River Queen back in the water

The Elkhart River Queen is back in the water.

The boat was delayed from relaunching since last fall.

The boat is 75 years old and has been going through maintenance for the past few months.

The plan was to have the boat in the water starting last week, on Monday, June 19. When that did not work out, it was to be back on Monday, June 26.

An engine leak and crane malfunction postponed the process for both relaunch dates.

As of Tuesday, July 27, the River Queen is back in the St. Joseph River.
