Have yourself a Backyard BBQ during South Bend’s July First Friday, happening July 7 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.

You can enjoy all the joys of summer, including picnics, BBQ, time outdoors, garage sales, fireworks, face painters, and more.

A block party will be happening on S Michigan Street, where you can find a free concert by Phat Tuesday Dixieland Band, as well as a beer garden, and balloon artist. There will also be a caricaturist, vendors, a Studebaker Car Show, and the first ever Picnic Palooza decorated picnic table contest

The Gridiron will host its first ever garage sale and BBQ cook-off.
