Elkhart man busted, burglary at Martial Arts School

An Elkhart man has been arrested after a burglary at a martial arts school.

It happened on Friday, July 7, at 10:50 p.m., when officers were called to Star Martial Arts in Elkhart on reports of a burglary in progress.

When officials arrived, they found a shattered door.

Police say that they found 46-year-old Brian Grant inside. They say that meth was found on Grant. He was taken to the Elkhart County Jail for burglary and possession of methamphetamine.

Star Martial Arts School will stay closed through Friday, July 14.
