The House is approving its version of the annual defense bill.
The Senate will pass its own version of the NDAA.
One key change to it was one that would reverse the Pentagon’s policy to reimburse travel expenses for service members who travel out of state to access abortion care.
Indiana Republican Congresswoman Victoria Spartz said she voted in favor of it because it “makes some major improvements to strengthen national security, improve pay for service members, depoliticizes the military, and increases fiscal oversight by Congress.”
