The Republican candidate for Goshen mayor is removing their name from the ballot.
William Malone says it’s because of frequent travel and other obligations connected to his full time job.
The Goshen News reports Malone stating that, while he’s enjoyed campaigning and meeting voters, his daily challenges in business have increased infinitely.
The Goshen Republican party will select the next candidate in a open caucus process. That’s expected to happen by mid-August.
