Few details have been released about a death investigation in Elkhart.

Police were called around 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, to a home in the 500 block of Modrell Boulevard.

Inside, to body of Jessica Mitchell, 39, was discovered was in a state of decomposition.

The Elkhart County Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.
