Plans for the second phase of the $63 million The Mill apartment complex at the Ironworks Plaza have been approved.
City council members voted unanimously to approve financial aspects of the project during their Monday meeting.
Mayor Dave Wood tweeted that the vote gives the project the green light to proceed.
The plans include 230 new apartment unites, additional space for shops and restaurants, a parking garage and other amenities.
The Mill-Phase Two will be built west of the ice rink.
The Mayor expects groundbreaking to take place in the fall.
