Woman charged in connection with deadly car/motorcycle crash in South Bend

A South Bend woman has been charged in connection with a deadly crash that happened last September at the intersection of Mishawaka Avenue and 31st Street in South Bend.

The collision involved a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle, Dale Womack, 32, of Mishawaka was pronounced dead at the scene.

Following an investigation, the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office has charged 28-year-old Shambreka Hall of South Bend with operating a vehicle with a Schedule I or II controlled substance, causing death when operating a vehicle, and reckless homicide.

If convicted on all charges, she could receive a maximum sentence of 32 years in prison.
