Michiana’s “National Night Out” is happening tonight

The 2023 National Night Out is happening Tuesday evening, and the Elkhart Police Department is looking forward to the chance to interact with the community.

The event is planned for 5 to 7 pm at Central Green on South Main Street, and will offer plenty of fun and free food! You can go here for more information.

In South Bend, the event is taking place at the South Bend Police Department on W. Sample Street. Families can get an up-close look at the department’s emergency vehicles, including the bomb squad truck. There will be booths, giveaways, food and more. It starts at 5 p.m. and goes until 7 p.m.

In Mishawaka, it’s an evening of free fun, frozen treats during the “Chill With A Cop” event from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Merrifield Park. There’s inflatables, popsicles, snacks, foam parties and more.
