Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office has announced a new smartphone app.

The app is away for the Sheriff’s Office to connect with Elkhart County residents and share information quickly and efficiently.

The app was TheSheriffApp.com, which specializes in mobile app development for sheriff’s offices across the country.

The Sheriff’s office says that there are many features to use on the new app.

Those include the ability to submit a tip, information on jails, an inmate search, a contact page, a way to join the team, information on sex offenders, and more.

The app is now available to download for free in the app store by searching Elkhart County Sheriff IN.
