Goshen woman fighting for life after being struck by pick-up truck

A 63-year-old Goshen woman is fighting for her life after being struck by a pick-up truck.
The collision happened around 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 10, at State Road 13 south of County Road 26..
According to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office, a 21-year-old Goshen man was traveling southbound on State Road 13.
The bicycle was also traveling southbound when the truck tried to pass the bicyclist and hit the left side of the bike.
The woman was unresponsive and was airlifted by MedFlight to Memorial Hospital in South Bend with life-threatening injuries over her entire body.
The Elkhart County Crash team is investigating factors that led to the crash.
