Two people were hurt in a crash on M-62 at Indian Lake Road.

The collision happened just after 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12 when, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, a 90-year-old man traveling northbound failed to yield at the stop sign at the intersection and struck a vehicle driven by a 63-year-old Dowagiac resident, forcing it off the roadway.

The Granger man was treated at the scene. The Dowagiac resident was taken the Memorial Hospital in South Bend for treatment.

Both individuals were wearing seatbelts and alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
