Impaired driving, single vehicle crash in Goshen

A man was incarcerated for impaired driving after a single vehicle crash near Middlebury. It happened at 3:50 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 13.

Police say that the vehicle was going eastbound on US 20, west of County Road 21.

That’s when the vehicle, driven by a 45-year-old Goshen man, left the roadway and went down an embankment, lastly overturning in a ditch.

Police say that the driver showed signs of impairment and submitted to a blood draw.

He was incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail.
