Manufacturing Technology Incorporated, a South Bend-based company, received recognition from NASA for welding together parts for the engines used in the successful Artemis-I moon mission.

Senior leaders from NASA and South Bend Mayor James Mueller visited MTI’s plant on Monday to thank them for their contribution and NASA employees say choosing MTI was an easy decision.
