Lane closures are starting on a section of the bypass, U.S. 31/20, starting on Monday, Aug. 21.

It’s on the west side of South Bend. Lanes and shoulders will be closed between Brick Road and State Road 2.

Crews are completing different projects, including signing, striping, ramp and auxiliary lane improvements.

Work will be going through November.
