Elkhart Community Schools Parent Coalition extends reach to cover districts across state

The Elkhart Community Schools Parent Coalition is extending its reach to cover all school districts across Indiana.
They’ve teamed up with The United Village Inc. of Elkhart and have renamed the group, “The Parent Coalition for Child Safety & Wellness,” according to The Goshen News.  
The organization is also starting a statewide “Call to Action Parent and Community Campaign” which aims to foster a shift in child safety and cultural norms through advocacy, education, and empowerment efforts.
For those eager to take part, the parents’ coalition has scheduled two ongoing informational gatherings. The first will take place at 6 o’clock tonight (Tue) followed by another at 1 o’clock on August 27th. The meetings will take palce at The Village Empowerment Center on East Indiana Avenue.
