Michigan’s Governor is expected to push for a repeal of “medically unnecessary” abortion regulations on Wednesday.
Planned Parenthood and Democratic legislators have been working together on bills that would repeal “politically motivated” and “medically unnecessary” laws that limit access to abortion.
This push follows last year’s approval of Proposal 3, which wrote abortion rights into the state’s Constitution. Bridge Michigan says Whitmer wants to repeal waiting periods and other hurdles that make it difficult for women to get abortions, or for doctors to treat their patients.
The governor will outline her plans for a new Reproductive Health Act on Wednesday in an address detailing her priorities for the fall.

She is a worshiper of Molec. She wants to sacrifice babies to her god. To bad voters in Michigan kept her in office. They had a chance to rid themselves of a tyrant but failed.
