Five people have been arrested on drug-related charges after a raid at a home on York Street in Michigan City.

Armed with a search warrant and several arrest warrants, the LaPorte County Drug Task Force, Fugitive Apprehension Street Team, and Michigan City Police SWAT converged on the home after officers received complaints about illegal activity.

Over the course of the investigation, detectives identified numerous individuals that were selling illegal drugs from the home.

In addition, Michigan City Code Enforcement responded to the home to investigate the living conditions inside.

Both this and the criminal case are ongoing.
