A local nonprofit has found a new home, after loosing its old one in a fire three months ago.

The Ferry Street Resource Center helps residents secure resources and provides educational programs and activities.

After the fire at Ferry Street School they were temporarily housed out of the basement of the Niles District Library. The new temporary home is at 317 N. 7th Street, across the street from the old location.

Leader Publications reports that after the fire, the center was able to reach an agreement with the landlord to bring the organization back to the neighborhood.

Office hours for Ferry Street Resource Center will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
