Four Winds Field looking to make improvements next year

Improvements could be coming to Four Winds Field as early as next year.

Team officials are hopeful that work will begin next fall on an expansion project at the minor league baseball stadium in South Bend. The City is accepting proposals in a search for a construction manager for the multi-year project that will have a price tag of $40-45 million.

WNDU reports the work would include a second deck of seats and a new building with club and event space. Bids will open in the coming week.
