A Mill Creek man lost his life in a single-vehicle crash in LaPorte County.

The collision happened around 4 p.m. on Tuesay, Sep. 12, on County Road 250 East.

Sheriff’s deputies say William Armour, 62, was traveling southbound when, for reasons yet to be determined, he veered off the road and collided with a tree.

The vehicle briefly re-entered the road, then veered off and made a direct impact with a second tree.

Armour was pronounced dead at the scene, and he was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
