Elkhart man sentenced after pleading guilty to receipt of child sexual abuse material

An Elkhart man has been sentenced in U.S. District Court after he pled guilty to receipt of child sexual abuse material and transferring obscene material to a minor.
According to court documents,  Christopher Myers, 42, used social media account to chat with a minor.
During some chats in September of 2021, Myers requested the minor send him child sexual abuse material of themself, which they did.
Myers also sent the minor innapropriate videos of himself.
Myers was sentenced to 90 months in prison, 5 years of supervised release, and ordered to pay nearly $4,300 in restitution to his victims.
