South Bend man injured in crash on M-60 in Cass County

A South Bend man was injured in a crash in Cass County.
The collision happened around 2:50 p.m. on Saturday, Sep. 16, near the intersection of Dailey Rd and M-60 in Jefferson Township, according to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.

Witnesses advised deputies that the driver of the vehicle, a 20-year-old man, was traveling northbound on M-60 at a very high rate of speed when he lost control and ran off the roadway.
Deputies are currently investigating the contribution that alcohol may have had to the crash.

The driver was taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
