Indiana’s Secretary of State has announced Dustin Renner as the new Election Director…

Secretary of State Diego Morales named Renner to the role this week. He brings a wealth of experience to the Secretary of State’s Office, having previously served as the Deputy Legislative Director with the Association of Indiana Counties and as Chief Deputy Clerk for Bartholomew County.

Renner will provide technical assistance to county clerks and the clerks’ association in his new role, and will represent the Secretary of State’s Office on the Statewide Voter Registration Core Team. He will also be responsible for working with Ball State University’s Voting System Technical Oversight Program to facilitate compliance with post-election audits and election equipment, and will assist with election-related legislation.
