Two Indiana teachers accused of sex-related crimes

A Northwest Indiana teacher is out of a job after he was accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student. Dakota McCoy, who taught at Chesterton High School, was arrested yesterday and was charged with child seduction and obstruction of justice. Police say the 30-year-old defendant was taken into custody after a former student alleged that she had a sexual relationship with him when she was still enrolled in school.
A teacher in Fishers is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student. The 34-year-old Fishers Christian Academy teacher allegedly kissed a student and received inappropriate photos and videos from them. Court documents claim the relationship happened for 12 to 18 months. The teacher is facing a slew of charges, including sexual misconduct with a minor, child solicitation, and child seduction.
