Elkhart Police // Alyssa Foster
An Elkhart woman has been arrested — suspected of a hit-and-run.
She allegedly ran a stop sign, collided with a bicyclist, causing a broken jaw and leg pain for the 35-year-old man, then fled the scene.
The collision happened late Tuesday morning on Roys Avenue, north of Mishawaka Road. 23-year-old Elizabeth Feuquay is facing charges of leaving the scene of a crash with serious bodily injury, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
She’s now in custody at the Elkhart County Jail.
