The South Bend Medical Foundation is asking the public’s help donating type O blood.

The foundation says there’s an urgent need.

If you’re interested in donating blood, you can sign up to donate blood online or call at (574)234-1157 to schedule an appointment.

You can also visit donor centers in South Bend on Douglas Road and in Goshen on Rieth Blvd.
