Three people detained after reported shoplifting at Goshen Walmart

A suspected shoplifting at the Walmart store on Elkhart Road in Goshen led to three people being detained.

Goshen Police were called around 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, to investigate the shoplifting and spotted a suspicious vehicle leaving the scene.

When officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop, the driver of the vehicle failed to stop.

Officers later stopped the vehicle. Three people were inside.

Heather Rodriguez, 31, of Osceola, was released from the scene with a pending court date for Possession of Marijuana, Identity Deception, and Shoplifting.

Quincy Lamar Woods, 37, of Osceola, was released from the scene pending a court date for Resisting Law Enforcement.

Stacy Johnson, 42, of Mishawaka, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Paraphernalia. Johnson was transported to the Elkhart County Jail.
