UPDATE: Man sought in relation to Stamp Drive shooting has been identified

UPDATE: Elkhart Police say the man has been identified.

ORIGINAL STORY: The Elkhart Police Department has released surveillance photos of a man in connection to a shooting that took place last week on Stamp Drive.

The shooting happened just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24, in the 600 block of Stamp Drive in Elkhart.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 33-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound inside a home.

Medics arrived and rendered first aid at the scene then transported the victim to the hospital for evaluation and treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
