The Clay High School teacher accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student has been sentenced to five years

Caleb Long pled guilty to child solicitation as part of a plea agreement. He was originally charged with dissemination of matter harmful to minors and child seduction, though those charges were dismissed as part of the agreement.

The case began in December of last year when a teenage victim reported to South Bend Police that Long had allegedly messaged her inappropriately and sent her nude photos, and a second victim also came forward to report inappropriate messages from Long.

Long was sentenced to three years in prison followed by a year on work release and a year on probation.
